Romania/Maramures
il. 1 Roadblock
We go on a tour of the lake Stiol (two years earlier we admired the waterfall Cailor) and we manage to finish it shortly before the intense downpour. In the pouring rain we return by the cars along the Ukrainian border to the west. Along the way we stop for a meal which includes hominy with sheep cheese and sour cream.
il. 2-3 Stiol Lake
Piesza wycieczka nad jezioro Stiol (dwa lata wcześniej podziwialiśmy mieszczący się niedaleko Wodospad Cailor), w którym W. postanawia się zanurzyć. Już w obozie dopada nas intensywna ulewa. W strugach deszczu kierujemy się samochodami z powrotem wzdłuż granicy Ukraińskiej na zachód. Po drodze przerwa na posiłek, w tym mamałygę z bryndzą i śmietaną.

il. 5 On the way back
For those of us who are for the first time in Romania, a must see - The Merry Cemetery in Sapanta. With plenty of souvenirs purchased on the folk market stalls, we go in search of a likeable place to stay for a night.
il. 6 Cimitirul Vesel
Dla tych z nas, którzy są po raz pierwszy w Rumunii obowiązkowy punkt programu tzn. zwiedzanie wesołego cmentarza w Sapancie. Z dostatkiem pamiątek nabytych na ludowych straganach udajemy się na poszukiwania jakiegoś sympatycznego miejsca na nocleg.
